Founded in 1992, as Don Lawrenson & Associates Ltd., we specialize in Residential Real Estate Appraisal, mainly for financial institutions, but our clientele includes law firms, accounting firms, relocation companies and private individuals.

Service: We provide service to our clients in the quickest and most professional way possible. We understand that in this competitive real estate market, quick turn around times are the key. We also value our client relationships and believe that personalized service is essential.     

Integrity: Accurate values you can trust is the foundation on which we have built our business. Over the years we have developed a reputation that our clients trust and rely upon.

Knowledge: We have extensive expertise in our service area and have the ability to obtain all the relevant data required to obtain the most accurate valuations.  We analyze and interpret this information to provide clear and concise reports that will enable the user to make informed decisions in our ever changing real estate market.

All of our staff appraisers are proud members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, AIC. AIC members are highly qualified valuation professionals who undertake a rigorous program of professional studies, examination and experience before being granted a designation.  The Institute also supports the principles of lifelong learning through a mandatory continuing professional development program. AIC members are also required to complete a professional practice standards seminar on a regular basis. This ensures that our appraisers have the most up-to-date education and skills possible.              

As part of our commitment to quality control, each and every appraisal assignment completed by Lawrenson Walker Realty Advisors is reviewed by another designated (CRA) review appraiser. This professional collaboration provides the most accurate valuation and also ensures compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) are the generally accepted standards for professional appraisal practice in North America.

Our staff appraisers are members of The Appraisal Instutute of Canada (AIC), Real Estate Institute (RI. BC), Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board (GVREB), Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB), the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and the Mortgage Brokers Association of BC (MBABC).
